Heat record in Bergen: 33.3 degree Celsius

The temperature record in Bergen was thoroughly beaten Friday afternoon. The new heat record in the city is 32.8 degrees. At the same time, a tropical day was measured in 14 counties.

The record was set at 14:17 at the Meteorological Institute at Florida. According to TV 2, the temperature rose quickly and on Friday afternoon it was up to 33.3 degrees.

The old record was set on July 27 last year and was 32.2 degrees.

It has been a hot day over much of the country. The meteorologists report Friday at 17:00 that it has measured a tropical day, that is over 30 degrees, in 14 of 18 counties. The counties that have not had a tropical day on Friday are the two northernmost and the two southernmost counties in the country.
