A 15-year-old is charged with attempted murder and making threats after an attack involving knives and a pistol-like object at a school in Eslöv in Skåne in August.
The boy was masked when he arrived at the school. He stabbed a teacher almost immediately and then threatened fellow students and other staff before he was arrested.
In a press release on Friday, the prosecution states that the boy was inspired by other school massacres and that he filmed the incident.
The boy is now charged with attempted murder of the teacher, as well as threats against students, other school staff, and a police officer.
According to the indictment, a possible motive may have been a desire to assault a group of people on the grounds of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, or sexual orientation.
