The vaccine manufacturer Moderna says test results for the corona vaccine in children aged 6 to 11 years are good.
Moderna reports a “robust response” when it comes to “antibody neutralization” and says they will soon send the experimental data to global regulatory authorities.
“Data from clinical trials with over 4,700 children in that age group have shown a strong immune response one month after the second vaccine dose,” Moderna wrote in an announcement on Monday.
Modern’s test results were published a week after Pfizer/BioNTech announced that their corona vaccine was 90% effective in preventing the development of disease in children aged 5 to 11 years.
