Norway’s ambassador to Sudan, Therese Løken Gheziel, has met Sudan’s ousted Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok, who is under house arrest.
Ambassador Gheziel was one of seven diplomats who met Hamdok, the UN office in Sudan wrote on Twitter.
“We are happy to see that he is in good shape. We still ask that he regain his full freedom,” the UN wrote in the message.
Hamdok was ousted in a military coup on Monday, and on Tuesday, he was placed under house arrest in his home, under strict guard.
