Norway’s Progress Party (FRP) deputy leader Sylvi Listhaug is strongly critical of Donald Trump after the scenes that took place in Washington on Wednesday. She thinks Mike Pence should take over now.

“Trump is responsible for the fact that he has incited these masses over a long period of time,” FRP deputy leader Sylvi Listhaug said during Politisk kvarter on Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).

Wednesday afternoon local time, a group of protesters stormed into the Congress building in Washington D.C. in the United States while the Congress was in the process of approving the outcome of the presidential election.

Listhaug emphasized that the protesters were also responsible for their actions.

Upset

She was upset about the scenes that took place in Washington on Wednesday.

Several have argued that Vice President Mike Pence should take over as president until Joe Biden is formally installed in two weeks.

Listhaug agrees.

“Trump is not fit to be president according to what we have seen now, but it is American politicians who will decide that,” she said.

Listhaug was also asked whether she should have criticized Trump more clearly during the four years he has been in power.

“I do not think a politician in Norway who sits in the Storting (Norwegian parliament, editors note) would have made any impression on Trump or others,” she said.

  1. Trump cannot control himself and is dangerous in office. He is repentant today and capable of anything tomorrow.

    Yes, he should be removed.
