A total of 43 million passengers traveled by train in Norway in 2020, a decline of almost half compared to the year before.
The decline is mainly due to coronavirus restrictions.

A total of 34 million tonnes of goods were transported on Norwegian railways in 2020, a decrease of 2% from the previous year.
