According to the newspaper Aftenposten’s prime ministerial poll, Labor Party (AP) leader Jonas Gahr Støre has a solid lead over the Conservative Party’s (H) Erna Solberg as the preferred prime ministerial candidate.
40.5% of voters now prefer Støre as prime minister after the election, the survey carried out by Norstat for Aftenposten shows. That is almost 8% more than in the same survey in April.
The survey was carried out in the period between August 30 and September 6. A total of 969 people participated in the survey.
On the other hand, 31% of those surveyed said that they wanted Erna Solberg as prime minister, while 10% opted for Center Party (SP) leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum.
