To get rid of the long queues, travelers from “green” countries will not have to test themselves at Oslo Airport this weekend.
“The situation has long been under good control. But the last few weeks, especially with last week’s sharp increase in travel patterns, the service and capacity have been under strain,” director Svein Lie in the Norwegian Directorate of Health told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).
Therefore, some immediate measures have been introduced that apply this weekend.
Travelers from “green” countries can test themselves in their home municipality rather than at the airport, and those who are going to quarantine hotels must test themselves at the hotel.
