In the last 24 hours, 32 new corona infection cases have been registered in Tromsø.
Furthermore, 141 people are now in isolation due to COVID-19, according to the newspaper Nordlys.
Troms og Finnmark is the only county in Norway where the infection trend was described as “probably increasing” in the weekly report from the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) published on Wednesday.
“The University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN) has more patients than before in the pandemic.
“We are in close dialogue with several municipalities in Troms og Finnmark that report increasing infection rates,” department director Line Vold in the FHI said on Wednesday.
