Two departures from Bergen Airport to Mallorca were canceled due to technical problems.

According to the newspaper Bergens Tidende, Ving’s flight was originally supposed to leave Bergen at 6 PM on Friday. The passengers were waiting inside the plane for two hours, but due to technical problems, according to the newspaper, the plane didn’t take off.

After several delays, a replacement plane was due to take off at 10 PM on Sunday, and the passengers were taken to the plane in buses. However, that flight also ended up being canceled.

“We have just been told that the flight has been canceled due to a technical problem that cannot be repaired now,” a passenger said.

In a text message to BT, Ving Norge manager Marie-Anne Zachrisson stated that she understands that the travelers are both upset and fed up.

“It is almost unbelievable, but the replacement plane to Palma cannot fly tonight due to technical reasons,” Zachrisson stated.
