Russian forces continued to carry out rocket attacks on several cities in Ukraine on Sunday night, according to one of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s advisers.

“More and more rockets every day,” adviser Mykhailo Podoljak wrote on Twitter.

He also mentioned the cities of Lutsk, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Rivne, CNN reports.

“Russia no longer has language, humanism, civilization. Only rockets, bombs, and attempts to wipe Ukraine off the world map,” he said.

Sirens were triggered in all regions of the country earlier Sunday night. Several powerful explosions were heard in the capital Kyiv, and in Luzk in the northwest of the country, a fuel depot was allegedly hit in an attack.

Podoljak accused the Russian army of “inhuman tactics,” including “partial or full blockade of humanitarian corridors and blockade of besieged cities.”

  1. My comment beneath the British Independent article today, “Ukraine ready to discuss neutrality in talks with Russia. Zelensky says ‘I understand it’s not possible to make Russia completely leave the territory — that’ll lead to world war three,’ Ukraine’s president concedes,”
… for as long as the Ministry of Defence censors controlling British media let it stay there:

The Russians will not go back to where and when the war was going on when they invaded. They want the war ENDED, and since we broke the Budapest peace agreement backing the 2014 Kiev coup, they will want their control of the Crimea and all of those East Ukraine provinces confirmed.
If Volodymyr (Zelensky) said he was willing to officially/formally concede territory, he’d be as dead as that moderate Ukrainian negotiator Denis Fireev, murdered on the streets by the Ukrainian secret police [Gestapo] after a negotiating session.
If the “ultra-nationalist” Ukrainians got back into the Crimea and East Ukraine, they’d massacre any pro-Russians, and we have yet to hear if they did that from the people in the territory the Russians now occupy … and are going to occupy, since Z.’s terms are non-starter.
How many more must die before the Ukrainians and West are willing to accept a fair peace and security treaty?
