A total of 691 new COVID-infected people have been registered in the capital during the last 24 hours. That is 224 more than the same day last week.
On Wednesday, a daily infection record was set in Oslo so far in the pandemic, with 1,075 new corona cases. The national figures were at about the same level just over a month and a half ago.
On Monday morning, district chief medical officer Tine Ravlo in Frogner district told NTB that the number of the infected after the much-discussed Aker Brygge Christmas dinner party has risen to 120, half of whom have probably been infected with the omicron variant.
