A group of anti-vaccine demonstrators managed to enter a vaccination center in Västerås in Sweden on Thursday. A police officer was injured.
Police were called to the Västerås vaccination center at lunchtime on Thursday in connection with an anti-vaccine demonstration, the newspaper Aftonbladet writes.
“It was a small demonstration but a noisy one. People at the scene experienced it as disturbing,” police spokeswoman Petra Blomqvist stated.
Five people aged 50-70 were in the vaccination center when the police arrived. One of the policemen was injured and sent to the emergency room due to a woman violently resisting.
“The woman is suspected of violent resistance. We have also reported people for illegal intrusion,” Blomqvist added.
