A woman who has been receiving hospital treatment due to the injuries she suffered in the explosion in Gothenburg in September has died, the police said on Friday.

Four people were seriously injured in the explosion and the subsequent fire in Annedal on September 28.

A large police operation was launched to find the 55-year-old man who was charged with causing the explosion.

He was found dead last week in a river in Gothenburg. The accused also lived in the block of apartments that was attacked, and the police stated early on that they did not suspect any connection to gang crime.
