The King of Old Trafford

King Harald has been invited as Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s guest of honour and will see the match between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday. He will also meet the manager after the match.

When Solskær got the job as permanent Manchester United manager, the king used the opportunity during a state visit to Chile to comment on it.

“That is impressive. Really. I hope with all my heart that he succeeds,” King Harald said.

King Harald has long been interested in sports and in 2011 received the honorary award during the Sports Gala in Hamar.
