Over 20 million Coronavirus infected

A total of 20,009,270 people have now been confirmed infected with the Coronavirus  worldwide, and 733,364 have died as a result of the Covid-19 virus.

The United States is the hardest hit, ranked by the number of reported deaths. The United States has reported 5,199,411 infected and 165,608 dead, while Brazil has 3,035,582 infected and 101,136 dead. Mexico is followed by 475,902 infected and 52,006 dead.

Latin America and the Caribbean have surpassed Europe as the region with the most Coronavirus-related deaths in the world.

For more and more countries, a second Coronavirus wave is a fact, and new infection control measures are being introduced and reopening is canceled.

9,638 registered Coronavirus cases in Norway – 39 new in the last 24 hours.
NIPH has registered 256 Coronavirus related deaths in this country.
