46 new cases of the Coronavirus infection have been registered in Norway at midnight to Tuesday, preliminary figures from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH) show.
The increase is slightly larger than it was at midnight to Monday, but smaller than it was over the weekend. On Monday the increase was 39 new cases, on Sunday the number increased by 48 cases and on Saturday it was 83 new cases. The figures are taken from the Communicable Diseases Notification System (MSIS).
A total of 9,684 Norwegians tested positive for the coronavirus. About 95 percent are now healthy, according to FHI.
A total of 16 people were hospitalized on Monday with positively detected Coronavirus. There is one more than on Friday, figures from the Norwegian Directorate of Health show. Of the 16 who are admitted, 2 patients are on respirators. The figures will not be updated over the weekend.
NIPH has registered 256 corona related deaths in this country.
