Donald Trump has left the White House as the US President for the last time. He is expected to go to Andrews Air Force Base before traveling to Florida.
Trump left the White House as president for the last time and boarded the Marine One helicopter at 2:14 PM Norwegian time.
Trump and his wife Melania Trump walked together across the lawn outside the White House and boarded the helicopter.
“It has been a great honor,” Trump said as he left the building.
On Wednesday, Joe Biden will be inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States, and Trump has announced that he will not participate in the ceremony.
A trip to Mar-a-Lago
Instead, he will go to the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, with the presidential plane Air Force One one last time.
First, a ceremony is planned at Andrews Base near Morningside, Maryland.
Trump’s calendar does not mention the ceremony, but he is expected to appear at the event.
