In the last 24 hours, eleven people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Trondheim. Six of them are under 29 years old.
Since Sunday, Trondheim has registered 18 new cases of infection, the Municipality wrote in a press release on Thursday. Out of the total, only one person has an unknown route of transmission.
The largest increase in infection occurred on Wednesday, when eleven people tested positive for the virus. Five of them were infected in another municipality, and three were infected after traveling abroad. The other three are close contacts.
So far this week, a total of 1,192 people have been tested for the coronavirus in the Municipality.
