According to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), blood clots and low platelet counts should be listed as a very rare side effect of the AstraZeneca vaccine, according to the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

On Wednesday, the EMA confirmed that there is a possible link between the vaccine and the rare condition.

However, the EMA still believes that the benefits of the corona vaccine outweigh the risks of the rare side effects.

“The EMA’s safety committee concluded that rare blood clots with low platelets should be listed as a very rare side effect,” it is stated in a press release from the EU agency.
