Leader of Norway’s Socialist Left party: It’s a real pleasure to see Trump lose

The Socialist Left (SV) party leader Audun Lysbakken says he is pleased with Trump’s election defeat, but that US democracy remains in crisis after the election.

“It is a real pleasure to see Donald Trump lose the election. Biden’s victory is a defeat for Trump’s shameless lies and contempt for the election process,” Lysbakken told news bureau NTB after it became clear late Saturday afternoon that Joe Biden would be the next president of the United States.

“Unfortunately, the United States’ problems are not over. It is a deeply divided country with a democracy in crisis,” the SV’s leader noted.

“I am afraid Biden will go too far towards the city center, but I hope he tackles the basic problem in the USA, which is the enormous economic inequality, and the powerlessness many Americans rightly feel,” Lysbakken concluded.

  1. And is Audun going to consider it a “real pleasure” when Harris&Biden start World War 3 with the Russians “for us?”

Where do he and Socialist Left stand on *adequate* civil defense/sivillforsvars for ALL people in Norway?

I wonder if he has ever seen the NRK program De Glemte Rommene.
