A new omicron case has been registered in Stavanger. A total of two people are now infected with this variant, but the Municipality suspects there are more cases.
Ruth Midtgarden, infection control chief in Stavanger, confirmed the news to Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).
One of the infected people was at a DeLillos concert at Folken in Stavanger on Saturday, and 600 people have been asked to test themselves for corona as a result.
Midtgarden asked the people who were at the concert to take a PCR test as soon as possible.
