In the last 24 hours, nine new cases of infection have been registered in Bergen. Eight of them are connected to the outbreak at Rothaugen school.
Eight of the cases are close contacts, while one has an uncertain route of transmission, Bergen Municipality stated.
The number of infections in the last 24 hours is nine fewer than the day before. On the same day last week, six cases of infection were registered.
The average for the previous seven days is eleven infection cases per day.
A total of 4,802 infected people have been registered in Bergen since the pandemic began in March of 2020.
Six new cases of the British variant of the coronavirus have been reported, two of which are associated with Rothaugen School.
