Nine people in Drammen have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The route of infection is unknown for one of the cases.
Municipal chief physician John David Johannessen told the Municipality’s website that the proportion of those who have been infected in the last week is low in Drammen.
“This week, we have so far 54 new cases of infection reported. Of these, only six have had an unknown route of transmission. This is well below the proportion we have seen over time when it comes to unknown routes of transmission,” Johannessen said.
Drammen Municipality will probably surpass 4,000 cases of infection during Friday. On Friday, 3,998 infected people were registered as infected with coronavirus since the beginning of March last year.
