The Norwegian Ministry of Transport is allocating NOK 500 million in restructuring funds to county public transport, which was hit hard by the pandemic.
“Home office and reduced travel activity result in lower income for the county municipalities.
“They will therefore receive a restructuring package for their public transport of NOK 500 million,” Transport Minister Jon-Ivar Nygård announced.
Oslo Municipality is set to receive NOK 147 million of the total sum, i.e., almost a third.
