Norwegian Health Minister: It may be relevant to introduce national corona measures again
Local and national measures may become relevant again if the infection continues to increase and the burden on the health services becomes high, Minister of Health Ingvild Kjerkol (AP) stated on Wednesday.
“The pandemic is not over, and we now see that infection rates are increasing in several places,” Kjerkol stated in a press release on Wednesday afternoon.
The Minister of Health says that if there is a large increase in the spread of infection locally or nationally, and a high burden on the health services, the municipalities must be prepared to limit the spread of infection through local measures.
“It may also be relevant to introduce national measures,” Kjerkol said.
