Norwegians are more worried about being infected with the coronavirus now than in March, a new study shows.
Nine months after Norway closed down, Norwegians are more worried about becoming infected, according to a survey Opinion has carried out for the Norwegian Corona Monitor.
A total of 80,000 Norwegians have been asked about their concerns about becoming infected with coronavirus or that someone in their family becomes infected.
More worried
A total of 41% answered that they are worried about being infected, which is a decrease of three percentage points compared to November, which was a record month.
In December, 65% stated that they are worried that someone in their family would get infected with the coronavirus. That is 4% higher than the average for the entire pandemic but two percentage points lower than in November.
“It has now been nine months since Norway closed down. Today, we are more worried about the coronavirus than we were in March,” senior adviser Nora Clausen at Opinion noted.
