The Armed Forces have detonated and destroyed the bomb found during excavation work at Skoltegrunnskaien in Bergen.

The bomb, which was found on Friday morning, is British and dates from World War II. It contains 40–45 kilos of TNT, writes Bergens Tidende.

The bomb was submerged and towed to Kvarven between Bergen and Askøy on Friday night.
