A car drove through a fence on Friday morning and into a bakery in Storgata in central Oslo. No one was seriously injured.
“A car drove into a building. We do not know why but the person in question is being examined by health personnel on site. Preliminary investigations indicate that there are no serious injuries,” operations manager Per Ivar Iversen in the Oslo Police District told news bureau NTB.
No people were hit by the car, which came driving down Pløens gate and drove over Storgata, then through a fence before driving into a window of the Backstube bakery at the Storgata / Skippergata intersection.
“Now we are getting witness statements. There are a number of people in the area, so naturally, there are multiple people who have seen the incident,” Iversen said.
