Record number of corona patients hospitalized in Bergen
A total of 25 people with COVID-19 are hospitalized in Bergen, the highest number of corona patients in the city so far.
On Wednesday, an infection record was set in Bergen with 234 new corona cases. On Thursday, the number of corona patients admitted to hospitals in Bergen was also record high, the newspapers Bergensavisen and Bergens Tidende write.
There are 22 corona patients admitted to Bergen hospitals on Thursday, all at Haukeland University Hospital. Three of the patients are in intensive care.
In addition, there are three admitted patients with COVID-19 at Haraldsplass diaconal hospital. One of the patients is in intensive care.
At Haraldsplass, a new corona-related death has also been registered, the newspapers write.
