Skien: 17-year-old shot in the head, police reveal

The 17-year-old from the Oslo area, who was subjected to violence in Skien on Sunday, February 13, was shot in the head, police reveal.

The newspaper Varden writes that two brothers, a 21-year-old and a 28-year-old, have been remanded in custody this time for four weeks, and charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.

The 17-year-old is still unconscious and hospitalized due to the gunshot injury. The shooting took place in the basement apartment in a house in Skien.

“There is no change,” police attorney Kristin Bjelkemyr Østvang said. The condition of the 17-year-old is described as critical.

According to the police, the two brothers have “a relationship with the victim.” The older brother has previously been convicted in a serious drug case.
