The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow danger warning for snow in the mountains in Southern Norway at altitudes above 1,000 meters.
“Locally, 5-10 centimeters of snow can fall in the western areas,” the meteorologists wrote in the danger warning.
They advise people to plan ahead, reserve extra time for trips, use the right tires, and drive according to conditions.
“Some trips may take longer. Driving conditions could be challenging at the local level,” they added.
