The Irish low-cost airline, Ryanair, reported that profits were down by 29% as a result of lower ticket prices.
But the company can still refer to solid numbers.
For the operating year that ended at the end of March, Ryanair reported a net profit of EUR 1.02 billion.
In the operating year 2019–2020, Ryanair expects profits to fall further, to somewhere between €750 million and €950 million. The company said the cause is pressure on ticket prices as a result of
aggressive competition in aviation.
