The start of the new school semester has led to many people complaining about full buses in the last week. Especially in Østfold it has been very bad.

In Østfold, there are more travelers than at the same time last year, writes VG.

– “People do not follow the advice to use alternative transport. And since the front door is locked, people perceive it as if it is free to drive a bus,” says Børre Johnsen, director of Østfold public transport.

He says that capacity has blown up and encourages people to use alternative transport.

In Oslo, Ruter reports that the general impression after the first week of school starts is that fewer people travel by public transport than normal, but that on some departures it can be a challenge.

In Trondheim, ATB reports congestion on some departures during rush hour, but department director Grete Opsal tells the newspaper that there is still sufficient space on most departures.
