So far, 29 people have applied for patient injury compensation due to the side effects of the coronavirus vaccine.

According to newspaper VG, the number increased from nine two weeks ago to 29 as of the time of writing.

“The 29 cases concern side effects of varying severity. They range from headaches, pain, and dizziness to blood clots and deaths,” communications manager Øystein Solvang at the Norwegian System of Compensation to Patients (Norsk pasientskadeerstatning – NPE) noted.

In four of the cases, the relatives applied for compensation after death cases – one of these cases concerns a person who received the AstraZeneca vaccine. The NPE does not know which vaccine the other three received at this moment.
