The memorial to Benjamin Hermansen has been vandalized, and unknown perpetrators left a message on it.

The message, stating “Breivik was right,” was discovered by Johannes Dvorak Lagos just two days before the tenth anniversary of the July 22 terrorist attack, the newspaper Aftenposten.

“This is reprehensible. Benjamin Hermansen’s memorial has been vandalized by racists,” he wrote on Twitter.

Press officer in the Oslo Police District Sven Kristian Lie told the newspaper that the operations center is not familiar with the incident.

15-year-old Benjamin Hermansen was killed at Holmlia in Oslo in January 2001. Three members of the neo-Nazi group Boot Boys were sentenced to prison for complicity in the murder.
