Update: A total of 85 corona-infected patients are currently hospitalized in Norway
On Sunday, 85 corona-infected patients were hospitalized in Norway. That is an increase of nine patients from the day before.
A total of 15 of the patients are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview on Sunday.
Since February of 2020, a total of 66,392 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Norway, Sunday’s preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS) show.
In the last 24 hours, 156 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 14 fewer than the same day last week and 269 fewer than the day before.
In Oslo, 36 new corona infection cases were registered. That is two fewer than the same day a week ago.
In the last seven days, a total of 1,739 new infection cases have been registered in Norway.
