According to the latest Norwegian Corona Monitor poll, few Norwegians are drinking more alcohol now than before the corona pandemic.

In October, only 6% of Norwegians said they had a higher alcohol consumption, while 25% had a lower consumption.

A total of 69% of those surveyed say that their consumption was unchanged, according to Opinion, which is behind the surveys.

Among those under the age of 30, more than 40% have changed their alcohol consumption habits.

The group also registered the strongest decline in consumption.

However, a decline was registered in all groups.

Statistics Norway’s (SSB) survey, published on October 1, showed that the drinking patterns had not changed significantly in 2020.

One out of three Norwegians drinks alcohol every week, while 15% of people have not drunk at all since the New Year.
