New daily record: 3,785 corona cases registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours

A total of 3,785 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 1,565 more than the same day last week, and 489 more than on Wednesday.

In the last two weeks, an average of 2,441 infection cases have been registered per day.

The infection rates are highest in the Søndre Nordstrand district, with an infection pressure of 6,141 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.

The figures are lowest in the Nordstrand, Nordre Aker, and Frogner districts.

The previous peak in infection in Oslo was registered on January 11 and 20 this year. On these days, 3,296 infection cases were registered.

A total of 140,938 cases of corona infection have been registered in Oslo since March 2020.
