Two people were arrested and reported for violence against public officials after several party participants attacked police officers in Oslo on Saturday night.

The police intervened at a party in Bygdøy avenue after party noise complaints, the Oslo police district wrote on Twitter.

When the police patrol arrived at the scene, they were attacked by several party participants.

The police had to use pepper spray to establish control of what they described as “two very aggressive men.”

No one was seriously injured, but the police were beaten and choked during the intervention.

The two persons were taken into custody and reported for violence against public officials, the police reported.
