It was 29 degrees celsius in Værnes in Trøndelag, on Friday night and it is the highest temperature in the country so far this year.
It is warm and nice summer weather in Norway now. In many places it was well above 20 degrees on Friday, and the highest temperatures were in central Norway.
Frosta in Trøndelag measured 28.6 degrees celsius. Tingvoll in Møre and Romsdal and Kvithamar in Trøndelag both had 27.9 degrees celsius.
The top 20 list from the Meteorological Institute on Friday night is marked by places in central Norway and western Norway. Oslo was 27 degrees celsius, giving the capital a 20th place in the list of the country’s hottest places that day.
