A total of 74% of respondents support the ongoing Unio strike, according to a new survey. 46% support the strike to a large extent, and 27% support it to some extent.

According to the survey Respons Analysis carried out for Unio, a total of 20% say they support the strike to a lesser extent or not at all.

As of Wednesday, 22,500 Unio members in kindergartens, schools, health institutions, libraries, and other public enterprises are on strike across the country.

“I think the pandemic has shown that our members make an irreplaceable contribution to society,” strike leader Steffen Handal for Unio kommune said.

Unio, the Confederation of Unions for Professionals, is a national trade union center in Norway.
