Oslo: 17-year-old remanded in custody after violent incident at Stovner

The 17-year-old boy charged with attempted murder and inflicting bodily injury in an incident where two young men were stabbed at Stovner in Oslo on Wednesday has been remanded in custody for two weeks.

In Oslo District Court on Friday, the 17-year-old was remanded in custody for two weeks with a letter and visit ban, the newspaper Avisa Oslo writes.

The 17-year-old has explained his actions to the police yet, but according to his defense attorney Marius Ihlebæk, he denies criminal guilt.

The cause of the incident on Wednesday is still unclear.
