Over half of those surveyed believe the biggest danger on the web is using the same password for multiple sites. Nevertheless, fewer people now use different passwords.

This is stated in the annual survey of the security culture in Norway conducted by the Norwegian Center for Information Security (NorSIS).

Things related to passwords are perceived as the biggest threats. 78 percent of those surveyed believe that sharing passwords with others is the most risky, while 61 percent say the same about using the same password on multiple online services.

At the same time, the share of those who use different passwords for different services has fallen from 55 percent in 2015 to 46 percent in 2019.
