“The King is improving, and we expect him to be home from the hospital during this week,” says Crown Prince Haakon.

The Crown Prince took the opportunity to say thanks for all the thoughts when he met the press during a visit to the Norwegian Refugee Council (Flyktninghjelpen) on Monday.

King Harald is doing well, according to Crown Prince Haakon.

“It’s been a heavy period in the last couple of weeks, but we try as best we can to take care of each other,” said the Crown Prince.

82-year-old King Harald was admitted to Rikshospitalet on Wednesday last week because of dizziness. He was then granted sick leave for two weeks. The Royal House stated that no serious illness was found.

The King was also sick before Christmas with a viral infection.
