Prime Minister Erna Solberg is one of the first leaders report back to the UN on how Norway will follow up the sustainability goals for 2030.
Solberg will be in New York on Monday and Tuesday to present government’s report on Norway commitment to its obligations and the priorities made during the first United Nations high-level meeting on the new sustainability goals.
– We are all developing countries who are working to meet sustainability goals and every country has areas that need improvement. In the beginning when we signed to report our priority was to keep the pressure on the sustainability goals not a nice resolution passed last year but we are committed to deliver, said Solberg to NTB.
Solberg leads along with Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama pushing group to contribute to the 17 sustainability targets to be met by 2030.
